Anna,
You have miss construed what I meant regarding property. I know it was a little obtuse but I was not talking about your personal position (how could I when I haven’t any idea) I was referring to the particularly English fascination with property prices and how it’s all wooden dollars anyway.
Again, how can you lose something you didn’t have in the first place?
Crime. I understand the UK has issues but we don’t all live in fear of our lives in a cease pool of crime. No ones wrong here. I’m just stating my version of the facts (not really as I pointed out there’s no such thing) :) :)
Ah what a relief, back to stuff I understand :D :D
Well it’s still in there I.E. it hasn’t knackered the seals, spewed the contents and caused an environmental catastrophe.
Stood up to the 58 Celsius Sahara. Put some synthetic ATF in the gearbox too.
Very easy to convince yourself but the gearbox and transfer case it could be slightly quieter. Way better value and to the same spec. as stuff like redline.
Good to hear that. Mine has the Morris stuff but can't remember if it was the synthetic or not. Anyway time for a refresh so will try the morris synthetic - redline will break the bank.

As for Crime, i am sorry but all i hear and see on the News for the UK is people being Killed/Murdered, and alot of it is Children, which is so sad, nobodys life is worth loosing no matter what they have done surely.
Kind Regards Spanner Anna xx
Stabby-- Stabby! Seriously.. My friend (who is a attractive looking girl) and I went to see Tegan and Sara concert back in February in Nottingham... well, the concert finished at about 2230 and there were aggressive looking 'local boys and girls' EVERYWHERE!
We decided to walk an alternative route to the train station... but they were simply everywhere just like the air we breath! Finally, it took us about 45 minutes for a journey which meant to take 15 minutes; Just to avoid those people.
What's worse? The last train was gone when we reached the station... so the only solution was to take a taxi... £30! from Nottingham to Loughborough... 20 miles (32km) = £30!!
Anna,
Here is one for you! My pervious G (now sold)... i wasn't lying huh? It was really in quite a poor state compare to yours...
Awwwww..
Thank you very much for the kind words! I am so sorry to hear about your cat are tortoises... 20 years! My last cat only lived for 15 years... he died in dec 02. My parents got him before I was born.
The odometer on that G only works sometimes... the reading was 54xxx when I sold it. It was a 1987 300GD.
Pok
Me driving my new G... the background is Ratcliffe Power Station...
Spider, do you recognize the famous condensation towers?

 ... Hope she's not driving it in this weather with dodgy tyres.
I guess she figures it'll catch fire soon enough anyway, so what's the difference LOL.
BTW This thread is great... took me ages to read it all

Catch fire?? seriously?? better tell her about that!
or the head gasket will go, if she can't afford decent TYRES then I'd sell it now, that engine in that car is crap

ya... so i have heard... it's a 2000 and has had way more problems then my 1991!
OO! forgot to mention... selling it might not be a good idea at the moment since it is a convertible. I doubt many people would want a soft-top in this weather with a potential head gasket problem.
thanks for sharing !
lphong, what size were the tires you paid that much for!!!!
i have a set of 4 265.70.16 generals for £140 bargain!! [like new]
So,, what is that van then Anna?
Mark do you give in then, it begins with M and has an O in it
Hi Anna,
Try these people they love that sort of challenge. Sure they would be interested in pic’s of your 250 as well. :)

Yes, I have heard of them catching fire in traffic. Best not park it in an attached garage, as it'll take the house with it
Hello,
Does anyone have a Drivers (lhd) Arm rest in the came check pattern/colour to replace the immaculate, leatherette one i have, or anyone got a cover replacement for this, have tried MB Dealers, cannot get.
Thanks Spanner Anna x
Another option is to replace the apolstery on the other armrest with leatherette and keep the fabric for any touch up jobs that need doing in the future i.e. seat tares etc. Previous owner did this to the headrests on mine. Good idea I thought though obviously not original.
