Anyone for camping? Updates in first post.
is uncle bill moss attending ? i ma sure he can teach you guys a thing or two about camping and driving in the snow.
chris, whats happend to the drivers seats ? i wont drive that cabrio in that state !
you see piggy, you've caused the lack of G's turning up !! most only attended previous events to look at your G400 CDI.
go get another G asap.
Count me out chris, my work load is too much now before I go to Saudi, would have loved to have taken lost of pictures and video and done another montage. Maybe some one can take pictures and videos on my behalf and send them to me, Mark and Howard have bought some nic cameras, get them to use em !
Thank god for that, you smell anyway..
Looks like its going to be the usual clicky crowd then..
Just seen we can have fires at this campsite, my boys will be in their element. Do we need to bring some wood or is there local woods to pillage?
Are we still on for 16 G's??
We'll also take lots of Pics...probaly not up to PP's standard, but we'll try.
My Dad has given me his map of the Dales.....looks great no major roads or motorways.....mind you the price on it is 3s n 6d!
Also just took the side steps of the G as some nice chap placed boulders outside his house on the road! Still never liked them and I think the G looks much better without.
See you all at the weekend
You'll love it, it's a great location and if the weather is kind, you'll have a hoot, one if the best do's I've been on in the 14 years I've been in the Gwoa.
Shame you have to work PP. Mind you at least you'll be warm! See you on the next one.
Yeah we will miss you so much!
Not long now, I see wind and showers for the weekend, maybe snow showers on Sunday..
Not to bad then

Sorry Guys, can't make it. Intended to come along, but now have to travel down to Shropshire this weekend. Should have been there last weekend but had to move it to this one instead.
Sorry to miss out, but have yourselves a great time and I hope it is as good as last time around.
David

An absolutely brilliant weekend!
Chris and Mardi thanks so much for your hospitality and seemingly endless supply of food and drink. I’ll forgive you Chris the humiliation of been told by the LR fraternity about your mishap (within minutes I think). :-)
It was also great to catch up with old and new friends.
Here’s some pic’s and a link to some more. Stu, one of lunch especially for you. Did we mention we had steak (thanks Fred!)
Russ
what was your thumb doing up your backside while on your bike mate ??
it obvious that a brilliant time was had by you guys....!!

if i'd have known fred was cooking steak i might have made it after all !
Yes, Fantastic weekend.
Thank you so much Chris and Mardi, nice one Fred for at last getting rid of that old lump of boeuf ;-).
Great to see everyone.

Isn't that tax disc out of date?
Looks like it was a great trip. No signs of tents yet? Bizarrely, I have mine up in the garden (don't ask) and there's a thick frost on it today.
(Still no blower in my G either, so wrapping up for a commute).
Many thanks fo Chris & Mardi for the hard work, super week end ...
Hi All,
Please find my merge effort to do a Peter Perfect video edit. Sorry I have not worked out how to do the titles and text yet (except at the start), but once again, it was great to see everyone and catch up. (Special mention to Francesca & Alex who were the designated photographers :) )
Not sure how to post it in the Gallery/Video section, maybe a kindly admin can help?
Chris, Mardi - many, many thanks for a wonderful time and look forward to seeing you both again
Spider1V

please...??
Hus, I think some serious groveling is in order! ;-)
A few "pretty please's" may do it ;-)
Spider, nice video. Please thank Francesca & Alex for the photography, it's not easy taking pictures when your being hurtled down a lane by some V8 nutter at 50 MPH. lol :-)
Thanks Chris and Mardi for the hospitality and organising the weekend. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Great to see everyone and meet a few new owners.
Photos in the gallery
Chris and Mardi,
Wow you made us all so welcome and your generosity was staggering. I really enjoyed meeting and puting faces to the forum members and agaIn everyone was friendly and welcoming, I hope I've made some firms friends. My boys really enjoyed themselves and again folk went out of their way to engage with them which was brilliant. Had to work today so just finished unloading the G...don't think she'll ever look the same though, mud everywhere....just how do you clean the engine bay of all that baked on mud?
As for the trip I did 980.2 miles only the last 10 on petrol and she didn't miss a beat. Got home in 4hrs 55 mins which was pretty good considering the traffic and Birmingham being a 40 mph zone for miles! Don't let anyone tell you LPG's no good on a G.
Worthy of mention Freds excellent steaks and the soup was fab.....and the chease!
Chris's breakfasts and every thing else!
Mark thanks for the sleeping mat and hats off to the Sprinter! A legend was born...I can just hear the Landy boys telling the story in the Pub for years to come!
When I get chance I'll sort my pics out and post them. Well done to Joe and the Girls, nice show.
Whats next then Boys and Girls?
We'll come to the next one, once the G is back on the road. Looks like wemissed a good event.
Repairs are underway now, so need somewhere to show it off once it is done...
nutter..? you mean skitso !!
oops, sorry spider.......
and just to show how much fun all this snow and wild weather is
