Anyone fancy meeting up for a days laning. The plan is to follow the roadbook in this months issue of TOR magazine.

According to TOR, the terrain is described as gentle downland, and bleak open plain. Expect overgrown vegetation, deep ruts and surface water.

The route will take us past Stonehenge, and the “German Village”, a complex used for training troops in how to drink awful lager. :wink:

Meeting place is outside the Crown pub in Everleigh.
10. 00, 10. 30 meeting time.

Please post if interested in joining.

Re: Salisbury Plain Sunday 28 Dec

pp,please give a detailed report on that monster :)

tires, lift ,engine etc....

i used own a 4.2D in cyprus before i moved back to the uk in 99. it was a jap import. had a warn winch too :wink:

but i found it a bit bulky and heavy. wasnt bad in the mud but seemed a bit of a hippo in my opinion. bloody juicy too!!

but it was solid. never really kept it long enough. is this your second nissan mate?

watched them off road on youtube recently and was suprised with the axle flex :shock:

Huss, 2" lift ,new wheels 4.2 diesel auto, bespoke winch bumper. This is my second nissan , yes they are big but good off road with rear locker and plenty of flex, apart from metal worm , these trucks are great , if you want one long term make sure u live in a dry enviroment !

Sounds like it is going to be a good event.

Modificata - I wouldn't be too worried. Virtually every lane has an escape route/bypass if it gets too much for you.

Re: Salisbury Plain Sunday 28 Dec

Could aways make this trip compulsory fancy dress. Being the panto season. This year it is Cinderella, so far in no particular order
Ian = Ugly sister
Rich= Ugly sister
Mark=Fairy God Mother
Shaun=Cinerella
Add your names to the list with your characters please.
This could turn a few heads!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
