Re: How deep

im new to Gs but from experience with l++d r****s you can take a diesel to the height of the air intake if youve got the bottle and dont mind trashing your interior !!! ive had a 110 with a 2" lift and 36" tyres up to the bonnet in the pontsticle holes !!

It entirely depends on the model, the skill-, and size of the balls of the driver.

The model because all of them have the air intake located in different places. G300TDs are know for having the air intake in the worst possible place of them all, just underneath the front bumper, but on all oher models the air intake is well over the 1 metre/3.1 feet mark. The electrics of the petrol versions are also well protected up to this height. But in some older models like the 280 GE, the foam underneath the bonnet retains water which is then let go to the holes in the cilinder head where the spark plugs are located, filling them with water.

Then again, the skill of the driver can make a seemengly unsurpassable river in something manageable.

I guess I don't need to explain the third factor!
