'G's international pics
I was looking down the first page and didn't find any thread to tag this image to, so I thought of starting a new one to post pics from our travels (for those who travel). While I realise this isn't exactly GWOA related (and the pic is only taken from a G!) it might spur some of you to post some more while out and about...
Greetings from Dubai (at the mo')
and for the car spotters among you, i see in the pic:
about 3 land cruisers (amazons in the UK), a pajero, a nissan armada/infiniti Q56 (ugly american-market), a honda MR-V, and an escalade

How is Dubai now, first went about 8 years ago last visit 3 years. Looks pretty busy now.
lol now Dubai is one BIG construction site, I think it is not an exaggeration that 30% or so of the world's tower cranes are in Dubai! Downside is the 24hr construction and traffic hassles, though that improves road safety because it is very hard to cause injury at walking pace.
I don't think you would recognize it when you come back, I sometimes get lost in new roads and areas and I only leave for a maximum of 5 months at a time! The price of fuel is one consolation... (~£1/gallon)

and yet you managed to take a pic, i'm normally not as fast with the cam, let me know when you're coming back and we might be able to meet up, as i am due to go back there in a few weeks for more work(study)
