What does the warning light on the dash mean - a hollow circle with three dashed lines on either side? It flashes intermittently whilst driving.

Carl,
I've got one of those too, but it never comes on, so, to be honest, I'd not even noticed it.. I don't have a book on my G in which to confirm this, but I wonder if it is perhaps to do with the brake pad wear indicators. I am surprised somebody more knowledgeable, like Bill Moss, hasn't come back on this one yet. I'm kinda curious myself, now.

It's the brake wear indicator. Front pads are low and need replacing.
The hand brake/ low fluid is the one to the lhs of it.ie hollow circle with solid lines not broken

Flashing light

If brake pads look ok and light flashes, check the sensor wire, some times when they are fitted the fitter doesnt route them properly and they rub on the inside of the wheel rim.

Yeah, I had a similar problem on my old 205, ended up just disconnecting them in the end!

I thought it was a bit funny cos I was told it had new brakes on it when I bought it so hopefully it will just be dodgy electrics.
