E_ _ _ MAJ, Grey/Silver W124 300D auto stolen on 16/03/05 in Hendon NW4 between 06:15 and 15:15.
Rusty on off-side front wing, bootspoiler, ugly steel wheels. Only wanted to use the engine for something else...
Be on the lookout if someone is offering you a 300D 6-cyl engine... :evil:

There was a story a few months ago in the Telegraph I think, concerning gangs of Albanians stealing old Mercs and shipping them off to Africa for spares – allegedly the police are not very interested.

I had some dodgy looking Eastern Europeans (no offense intended) with a supposedly broken down car trying to flag me down in France. Oddly however, I was the only car they were trying to flag down...
same happend to me, some oriental looking canadian driving a g wagen waving at me, I did'nt stop either :wink:
