Which one is good for towing a horsebox?

Does anyone have any opinions on which of the various G-wagen versions would be good at towing a horsebox?

Having owned a 463 300 GDL in the past, I thought that this vehicle was lacking a bit on the power side when I towed a caravan. Would a GE 300 or 280 GE be better? Would a shorter wheelbase version improve the handling?

Are 460s more relable than 463s? I found that the 460 I had was the most reliable I have ever owned, and unfortunately the 463 was perhaps the worst. Just bad luck perhaps, but has anyone else had a similar experience?

there all good at towing it just depends how fast, ideally if you want a good tow 4x4 you need a turbo and if you can put up with a left hooker and have 20k to spend go for a 300GTD. or buy an ISUZU.
