centre armrests for late 460 G

I never knew this was an available option but I saw in a 460 G SWB for sale that the front seats had centre armrests in the large check black/grey pattern. Was this an option or an aftermarket thing?

Would appreciate if someone could shed some light on this. It would make the car so much comfier... would it be difficult to retrofit?

centre armrests for late 460 G

You left me shocked there... I have checked all pictures that have of 460/461interiors and have found a number of 461s with armrests and just three 460s with them. This led me to think that it was an option in the 460, albeit not very popular. But then I checked some German price lists of the 460 and I could not find it at all! Which then leads me to think that it might not have been an option, but surely a easy aftermarket addition. If this is the case, I don't think that it would be difficult to retrofit but I admit that I can't say how it has been done.

I have also seen these armrests some where too , may be the American market
think ive seen them on Gs for sale on ebay a while ago
good idea would like these for mine too .

I took my front seats out and replaced with recaros and had to use alot of the base to fabricate a fixing to original boxes. When i stripped the seat down there was a hole in the metal back part of the frame with captive nuts to take what I thought was an arm rest on both sides :shock:
No photos though im afraid

:D i am striping 2 front seats at the weekend , i will take a look and see if there is any holes on them and if there i will take photo,s and post same 8)
