LPG conversion for 300GEL 463
I have a 1992 463 SWB petrol 300GES.auto. I am thinking of LPG given the thirst... but have had different comments about how to do it..
Some folk have a varied idea about input to the cylinders, and for the the tank, putting in a small petrol tank with a bigger LPG next to it rather than sacrifice the boot space. Possible cost £2k with no grant. Any experiences of similar to guide me? I am in west scotland
Thanks

the system you will need is a multy point, but I am sure you have already been told that. I have gassed both 230 and 280 in a g and both worked fine. Our editor Tim carnell has a 463 gassed and he lives in the scottish borders, You might want to contact him to ask how he has got on. In short it can be done but make sure you use a company that purely does gas conversions. As far as the tank goes in a SWB I would be tempted to use a spare wheel tank in the rear load bay and cover it with a platform(false floor) to raise the floor about 8-10 inches and have a dog guard in the back so you can stack any bulky items up to roof height.
Am having problems with my 463 on lpg, How can I get in touch with Tim Carnell?
what is it doing, maybe I can help.
