Looked like an excellent trip. Was it Troodos or Kyrenia mountains? Last time I was there was with the UN Forces back in '69, operating Mk 8 Land Rovers and August-Bell "Sioux" helicopters. Lovely place, despite the occasional silliness.

quercus,where the vid starts [flag] its the other side of bellapais. the flag can be seen from most points of nicosia. from there we went through the kyrenia mountain pass, and left towards lapta [my village] through the mountain pass. villages we went through were,

templos [zeytinlik] which where the knights of the templar lived.
karmi [edremit] which was mainly a british inhabited village pre 74.

and onto karava [alsancak]. from there we went down the coast passed laptethos[lapta],vasilya[karsiyaka],kayalar,akdeniz,korucam,sadrazamkoy and finished off at kumkoy which is basically bordering morphou [guzelyurt]. this is the outskirts of the trodos mountain towards the north of the island

you can follow the route we did through google earth. :wink: covered 120 odd miles and had fun depite the heat!!
