G better than digger
I got this mini digger for pulling trees leaning over my new house, and for pulling out the stumps to have it cut into planks. I did this because I didn't want to fit a winch to my car.
Then the digger proved to be to light and 1 tree almost fell on the roof and I had to rescue the situation with the G. The trees are about 30m high and 1m thick, so they are big. The little digger couldn't move the stumps either, so G to the rescue again. I can't believe how well it manages to pull these massive pieces of wood, in the rain, on a grassy slope.
I see you like to sleep with the windows open :)
I made this one a bit smaller so you could see your G without having to use a 50" plasma screen.
I don’t think even the G will help much if one of those goes the wrong way Christo
Could make an interesting trebuchet though

Thanks. Have you also get advise for crumbling walls? I had to close site today to pull down the one gable end wall, it is just to unstable.
A random rubble construction with a poor mortar mix or frost penetration probably to blame.
From what I can see from the photo it looks like the exterior pointing is in good nick or has been redone fairly recently. Were you not able to stabilise the gable wall by repointing inside and out?
A lot of rural properties of this age were built on virtualy no foundations, just a flat piece of compacted ground and off they went. It may be you have had a bit of settlement over the years which has weakened the gable. Look for vertical cracks and bulges as evidence of movement.
If you are demolishing and rebuilding the gable then obviously you will be putting in a proper foundation which will solve the problem. Be careful not to de-stabilise the adjacent walls when digging the new founds.
