You need not to worry as our prepaid shipping Agent will come to pick it up from your base for shipment asap the balance has been confirmed by you .the reason for this shipment method is as a result of the congestion at the Singapore seaport, which does not make it directly shippable there.

Doh !
Hi Pok, the way the scam works, in case you don't know, is like this :
The buyer sends you a fake bankers draft, you pay this into your account and it will show as cleared funds. You send the funds requested to the shipping agent.
The bank later dicovers the bankers draft is fake and claws the money back from your account. You are out of pocket and everyone else has disapeared. The banks will then be very sympathetic but totaly unhelpful.
The bankers drafts are normaly stolen genuine drafts so it takes the bank a few days sometimes a week before the fraud is discovered. That's why the buyer asks you to forward it to the shipping agent asap. He knows it will only show as cleared funds for a short period of time.
They work on the premise that as you are not being asked to part with the car you don't see any risk in the transaction.
There are some dirty rotten scoundrels out there.
seeing as u posted the scammers phone number lets bombard the git with dodgy texts!
Hi Pok
This is a definite scammer
Firstly i dont think we in Ireland are often referred to as below
Presently i am in offshore in Ireland but i will be traveling down to UK to complete the transaction,so first of all, I will like you to please put this off advert to avoid interruptions from other interested buyers and count it sold,OK.
See one of his scams below
well done for posting this and it looks as if the subscription to the GWOA has cover its cost for the next few years. I looked at the piston heads one and see that Alex has an alter ego called James - both the same numbers....
A word of caution, I would refrain from sending message or texts, as it can be traced back via the operators. This is a well set up bunch of scammers and they will have the IT knowledge to get back to you, clone your phone or even access your account if your mobile is a contract mobile.
Spider1V
I got one from UAE Dubai the other day...
It was the offshore in Ireland that was the dead give away. Its too complex a scam for the irish... They would just walk up to your front door and steal the keys from you!! :)
{i just had my bike nicked in Belfast}
Best thing to do is report it to the police/ consumer fraud folks and all that. If you have made email contact change your passwords to very secure ones also!
I agree.
If the Irish bandits want it, they will get it, with or without your cooperation.
Fortunately they have little or NO interest in G's.
Just Skylines, Imprezas and Civics.
Recently also BMW X5s and Maserati Quattroportes (for cash, not screwdrivers).
A word of warning. The bad grammer is to lure you into thinking they are not intelligent enough to con you. It looks like a variation of the old West African advance fee fraud or 419 as it is more commonly known. The people behind it are not nice and usually organised so dont make contact with them however fun it may seem!!
For scammer baiting this is the site to visit
Personally, I think just ignore rather than engage.
My two cents.
In sweden we have a lots of problem with foreing "car buyers". They send a check with a far to high value on it, they then want the seller to send back the amount to them. Resulting in moneylaundrie.

If you do speak to him again tell him your friend in Ireland can collect his payment . And drop the car top him as he is in ireland now with the car . When I do see him which we wont I will punch his lights out for him .
The chance is that he is not in Ireland and in Nigeria
"Good afternoon Mr Pok, my name is Alex I am calling you from Ireland"
Thanks everybody!!! All your advises are seriously appreciated!! :D
