Wiki says that only 85 SL73 AMG were built. I saw this one in the G centre in Hamburg last week, anybody interested??

Funny I thought the very same thing when I read this :D
After my brother in law wrote off my SL600 I was very tempted to salvage the engine and try and fit it in the G.
Unfortunately after some investigation the engine had sustained to much damage to make this viable. Probably just as well given how complex the swap would be.
The C36 arrives in a few weeks so I will let you know the progress of that swap. Not quite as complicated as a 6.0L V12.
