1999 SWB G wagen 6 cyl deisel 300 turbo
My vehicle is not running. It has 50,000 KM.
Mercedes here in Panama had it for a copple of simple repairs and ended up with it for six months and no real answer for why it won't start. Just that they'd need all the computer and relay parts changed just to see what the problem is.
I will ship it to Austria if necessary and if the factory would receive it. Any ideas about that?

Sorry to hear about your G. You may fine it helpful if you could maybe indicate if there was any symptoms before it stopped running? Andy parts changes, service by the dealer etc etc. Basically as much info as you can get. The full spec would also help, maybe if you posted the VIN number it could be checked to see what it came with etc etc.
Shame a MB dealer could not get it going, but there is a wealth if experience here on the forum

Are the engine, turbo and transmission factory original or modified?
What were the "simple repairs" first needed?
Is there any possibility that petrol/gasoline got into the diesel anytime (even many km's before your problems)?
Hi Panama G' that would be the 606 D30 LA -- 606-964 engine with the 722-611 5 speed auto G'box....the fuel management is ECU controlled. what are the problems as you see them... and what are the problems as described by your local MB dealer???? what parts have been replaced so far??
