My new G300 diesel
Well, not new.... but looks the part. Just after I brought it back from Tenerife I took it straight to Tomás Morenofor a face lifting :D
It is now officially a G300 Diesel, briefly offered by Mercedes in early 1994:
firstly, congtratulaions isa, it looks really good ! who is this thomas guy?? what did he actually do? other than polish the paintwork...
why did you wonna make it into G300 [like mine :wink: ] did mb offer your paint code in 94?

I have a 1999 in sad electronic condition. I want it running again. Where do I send it for a complete go through?
I really like the no wheel arch extensions look. Doesn't your other one look the same? (No wheel arch extensions).

nice i have a twin g in spain. very nice my friend have good fun, what size are your rims? also is your engine the 603, what temp is runing during summer, mine when i push it goes up to 100 celcius, the only solution is to open more holes on the cylinder head. here we test one, so far is ok but i want also to test it during winter time to see if goes up to normal temp.

I have to disagree; I drive my G300 flat out on long uphill inclines in the motorway with 40 degrees and the AC at full blast and the engine does not exceed 85 degrees. In fact, after refurbishing the cooling system I have never seen it exceeding 85.
This is after I fitted new Hela radiator, thermostat and a smaller water pump pulley capable of keeping temp low in scorching heat.
i have bring mine from germany and i think there are two cylinder heads one for cold weather and one for hot, also i have find two deferend caskets one with more holes. you didnt tell me your rims size.

Sorry, the rims are the optional 6x16".... tyres are BFG M/Ts 235/85R16

No, my other one had the "fender flares" but I also quite like the spartan look of this one... Among so many Gs on steroids it really stands out!
