Hi Marcus now the problems start...45mph for the next 12 months!!! and the new regulations out this week..no right hand seat in a TT just yet...Citroen C1 with low insurance and no tax could be the way forward :wink:

Re: Atta Girl

new regs??
Eh what?
I am in the notion of getting her to do the trailer test when she is already "up to speed"

We used to conduct them...

remain standing on said trailer whilst pick-up attached to trailer is driven from 0 to 20mph and back again accross field.

... I don't think I ever passed.

Re: Atta Girl

Passed the test? or passed the pick-up (on braking)
PS
Probably as a result of watching toooooooooooooooo much Starsky & Hutch as youths :oops: , we attempted during our student years to cling onto the bonnet and or roof of a car :lol: and even at about 5mph a sharp dab on the brakes resulted in ones rapid departure, with or without fingertips depending on how determindly one held on.
F=ma an all that.

Re: Atta Girl

Hi Marcus new Reg's for speeding--: GBP 60 and three points on your licence or an advanced drivers course ( costing GBP 85) and no fine or points on your licence..may not apply to the "first year after passing the test" drivers. as they are already restricted to max 45mph.

Re: Atta Girl

45mph for first year drivers, how are they supposed to drive on the motorway or a duel carriageway?

congratulations to her marcus, if the misses starts acting up i can offer a scalextric track and and a lifetime of her being fed up that her fella is still at work, oh us medics, what a catch!
