Hello GWOA...

I am currently doing some preliminary research into buying a LWB G Wagen.

At present I have in mind a 2ND hand 270CDI LWB from Germany.

But how do I start the ball rolling?

All thoughts welcome!

Getting a G from Germany is pretty straight forward and easy. If you do a quick search there are a few threads that explain it in detail.

I would recommend doing it - lots of choice and competitive pricing. Just needs time.

Okay so I'm going to try my luck and seek out a German LHD 270CDI

Can anyone recommend a thread that provides a comprehensive guide to the do's and don'ts of exporting from Germany.

Can anyone recommend a reputable German dealership who have had previous experience in sourcing G Wagons to the United Kingdom.

And with regards to insurance brokers... who would make it onto our top five list?
