Yes! I found a wonderful W201 1.8E in time warp condition. One family onwer and the last keeper as fastidious in regards to preventative maintenance as myself: he kept a record of every EURO he put in the car.

Despite being the entry model, it's got aircon and ABS. I changed the oil, the cooling fluid and the spark plugs today and fitted a newer Becker/Mercedes radio-cassette:

I am very glad to finally own a Mercedes that my wife does not particularly like: Thus she will not take it away from me as she always does!

I had a 190e silver with the amg wheels and little spoiler , I loved that car, to this day I should never have sold it!

I have never seen such a well put together piece of kit before: everything seems as if it had left the factory yesterday.

i miss my 190 terribly, dont get me wrong, i love my new car, but there was just something trusty about Murray the 190! i had the opposite problem though, the misses is scared of the new one but loved driving Murray (looked quite funny seeing a young girl driving it too) so she had him at every opportunity!

enjoy every mile of it, my mates all said how smooth it was when they got in!

I took tony baskill out in mine once, now here's a man who has had s class and the like all his life, and yet he loved the ride of my 190.
