I noticed that the high/low range in the G was switched (as opposed to levered). Is this now standard in the newer Gs? If so, are there any issues with having this done electronically that anyone knows of? It just surprised me that MB/Steyr would go down this route.

Been like that since 2001, don't know of any issues.
