Has anybody done the above ? if so do you have to remove the stub-axle/outer driveshaft assembly calliper? ...We removed the external cap and as far as we could see there is no obvious adjustment point.

Hello M2,thanks for the link...Seems as though I could do with writing to Mb asking for twenty sets of bearings hey! ...Although I am actually going the other way with the wheels I have bought a set of stock steel wheels ...Still got to sort out the wheel bearing though looks like Iwill be manufacturing a tool of sorts
kind regards G

Certainly - if you have the workshop facilities then it might be cheaper to build your own. Harald has a bit of a special working relationship with MB ;)

Hello ,well bit the bullet and have ordered the hub nut tool as it looks like it might be something that wil require regular attention...Better get my monies worth from it as it is going to cost £28 plus VAT still at least I will get the VAT back which helps! :)

Not a bad price at all! I guess it is the 463 tool that is close to £100...at least you know it is the OEM tool and should last. I know it doesn't add anything but having a tool with the MB part number on it makes it special haha.
