would you try this?
Nice front and rear winch instalations. Wonder where he got the bumpers from.
Yea I took notice of the winch bumpers
The bumpers are the only interesting thing. The driving is a piece of p155. I took Russ on worst than that last week, only difference was that is was on mud and uneven ground.
Next time you are up Geoff, I'll take you for a proper spin, and if you think this is scary, you will get a new meaning for the word.
I wonder how many times this poor G will survive this though. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ilI_xA5-DFk&feature=related
I wonder if a 90 would survive it, G-day have you still got yours?
agree with you guys: very nice bumper/winch arrangements.

Rather painful to watch!!
Leeu,
I have and I doubt on standard springs and dampers that it would do it more than twice :D mind you I don't think I would want to treat a G that way either but thats just me prefer a less gung ho approach unless its the only way.....
Strange, but I have broken a few springs over the years, always on the back, but did a massive jump of more then 6 m far, about 1.5 high with my 230 without any problems. Wouldn't do it again though. If G's were made to fly, they would come with wings as an optional extra!
I often get my front wheels airborne when trialling, and if it is not too much in the air, and not too fast, does not cause much damage, except to accelerate wear on training arm bushes.
BUT, the only time it happened with diff-lock engaged, it snapped the half-shaft and destroyed the hub - so I am more careful now, and drive on the basis that if I need the front locker in, I don't need speed as well.
Example of Splatt with wheels in the air - about 1m !!
