Window stuck down!!
Hi, my front passenger window goes down well but when it starts up it moves forward, to the front of vehicle a little bit, and stuck. Then I put it back in normal position and must hold it for nearly half of way. It happens when the window goes completely down. Any thoughts?
sounds like the guides are off. you can quite easily pop the door panel to look. there are a few screws which are hidden behind caps. not a big job.
alternatively and easier try moving the window up and down a few times and check the seals for debris and if necessary lubricate. it's possible the front part is sticking cause the window to angle forward.
Problem solved. Lube spray in to a guide from above when the window muved down.
glad you sorted it easily. fairly common problem on newer Gs.
