I think the proportions are a bit out, but that would sure work for me. Stick a oil burner in there, shorten the back a bit and fit a rifle rack, and it would be perfect.

Get a cage for him/her. If possible just borrow one until he or she is trained.
Looks like a Hummer wannabee, whereas the Humvee should dream of being a G ?
I reckon you could build one of those on a G-ambulance XLWB chassis. I'm going to try it as a future project, probably single cab though, much easier.
Here is a slightly more subtle version :-
West Sussex Fire & Rescue have 12 extra lwb crewcabs (Super G290 Turbo), but badged as Puch and the pick-up bed is a drop side unit with removable GRP hard top. One day, they will want to dispose of them.... now there's a thought. :D
