Test drive the new G for free, off road!

Anyone going on holiday to Austria?

Just got back from a weeks skiing in Kitzbuhel and discovered the best free mornings play. Mercedes has an off road experience centre in 'Klitzy Kitzy, You book in the day before, arrive on the morning sit through an informative 1 hour sales pitch about off road mercedes while drinking hot chocolate and then chose which model you'd like to go round the course with. M class, GL, a weird smaller version of the GL a 'GLK' (never seen one in the UK) or a long wheel base G.

You can guess which one I picked, the wife's twitch wouldn't let her get in a G :( so she opted for the ML, I did G with a mate. 30mins driving each (two or three up while driving) the instructor trying to get us to get it stuck, he accepted that wasn't going to happen in the G. Next followed 10 mins of the instructor demonstrating the full offroad capability of the car.

A fantastic morning out that I would recommend, just had my follow up sales call from Mercedes UK, I told them it was a good car but I'd just bought a Toyota instead! after a slight pause a very polite lady hoped I'd be happy with my new purchase, but hoped I'd return to the brand soon!
