It's here:
http://www.britishindoor4x4show.com/clubs.html

Mercedes G-Wagon Owners Association - stand CL20 - www.gwoa.co.uk
The G-Wagen Owners Association produces regular bulletins for club members giving advice, spares contacts and news about off-road weekends. A countrywide network of regional secretaries help co-ordinate local events.

Manufacturing started 30 years ago, primarily for military use at the Mercedes Graz factory in Austria and design remains largely unchanged today, testimony to its superb build quality. It is still one of the best 4x4 vehicles to be found anywhere in the world. It rightly deserves its name of 'GELANDEWAGEN' - go anywhere vehicle!

For more details go to website or contact Membership Secretary Tony Baskill @ membership@gwoa.co.uk Tel: 07811 121235.

So anyone going?

Nope - everything was fine. Just last night n the way home, some Lexus 300RX hybrid aka 'Tosser' Tried it on at the lights near where I live, so I had to show him that while a Japanese manufactured car is nice, sleek and looks good, ye can't beat a G500 off at the lights....

to do such wayward driving one like to use the gearstick to change gears

well I noticed that at the end of the 'little run' when I popped it back into D it went very stiff, and this morning trying to gt it into D was a real bugger.

Things ran ok , but again, trying to put it into park and drive is very very stiff. Garage notified, will be in next week.

Oh and before anyone decides to ask.............

The G wiped the floor with the 'Tosser', seems his electric engine had 'a problem'..

Spider1V - am in Suffolk!.....................for the week.................

Re: British Indoor 4x4 Show

yep I will be going, Problem is I will be accompanied by a Land Rover Owner, it wont be too bad though i will probably lose him when he see the AA stand - he'll be with them all day!

If anyone else is going let me know it'd be good to meet up.
