I have a amazon as a daily driver, and have looked into this swap already, amazons have a BIG engine bay!
the length of the engine box would be issue, the gear box would more than definitely need to go right back to the merc tc, and than theres the width on the yota box compared to the merc one....the mb box is tiny compared, you would need a body lift, or a bigger transmission tunnel!
still not sure if it would actually fit between the G front shock mounts though...then theres the turbo and steering column and the brake booster!
If somone handed me an engine I would have a go...but 3 grand is allot of cash for somthing that might not work out!
would be some job if it did though!
