They are aren,t they. Mine packed up at 144k miles, i,m just going to use hand signals its cheaper than keep replacing these shoddy parts that have no life.

In my LHD 300 GD it was under the panel below the steering wheel.

On my RHD they are under the passenger footwell. You need to remove the carpet from the fuse box and see the 2 phillips head screws. Remove both of them and the whole panel lowers down on hinges. At the top RH side are 2 relays they are the f and r wiper relays. To save money swap the front and rear and get another 190 000 miles out of it. :D

Thanks Jesus and Roly, I finally remembered where it was from the time i changed one for a friend some years ago. So Jesus you were basically right. On a lhd the fuzes and relays would be there, and Roly you were very close, the wiper relays are next to the turn signal ones i was refering to. I had to order one from Gremany because there was nothing in stock at our local merc dealer and they don't intend to stock such an item, because mb
"don't make those old g wagens anymore" _ _ _ so there! Thanks for the help, cheers Mike Walker.
