just watched episode 4/4 on bbc 4 meets guy called tom driving g wagen in sahara :D
"Quiet for a Tuesday" by Tom Sheppard is a great read [particularly if you need to get away from the bleak mid-winter gloom]! He mentions meeting Michael Palin while filming "Sahara"; it's interesting to see the link. There are lots of complimentary comments about the G and lots of photos of his G-wagen.
