yes its a very nice kayak. :wink: Sea's a bit too cold this time of year though. What's that cart sprung heap thats running it around, Japanese? :lol:

You can still see loads of these in the Canaries, mostly well kept and still going strong!

Golly you summed it up well. Had two of these from new . Did a lot of miles and diesel engine lasted well . Rust gets to them quickly . A new G was not available back then here in NZ. G is luxury when compared. The air vents on sidewells were basic and clever. I see owners of 2CV cut them out and add them to their cars.

Had a LWB 77 myself. Used to get 14mpg. Notice the total disregard for the parking restrictions

After a brief ie 4 mile ride into town one night in the back of a SJ??? Suzuki SWB jeep thinngy, some 20 odd years ago
My kidneys have just about recovered, but NOT forgotten.
I should add that was after driving on well maintained blacktop.
