Having finally got my grubby mits on my 463 (1991 300GES) (pics to follow) having bought it over two months ago (long story, will post it when I know the denouement!) it's now time to start fettling. Amongst other things I'd like to put in above Becker. Anyone know if my model has a speed pulse.

I also want to tint rear windows. Any recommendations in Peterborough area.

I also want to fit remote central locking and alarm. I'm thinking Clifford or Laserline. Again, any thoughts/recommendations?

Re: Becker Indianapolis pro and other things

My 92 has definitely got some form of speed pulse as I managed to instal a cruise control using it. I don't know what is was installed for originally. ABS?
But, when I connected the same cable to a becker mexico for the GAL it didn't have any effect. But I didn't persist with it so maybe it could be used.

Also the standard radio cables don't have the iso connector so you'll need to solder something on. Does your G have the fader dial on the central lower consol? You need to locate the 4 speaker cables pairs and start from there bypassing that thing.

MBUK used to fit alarms and immobilisers to the standard remote central locking. Have you got anything left of that setup?

Update:

Becker in and looks/sounds great

Tints done by a place in P'boro. Reasonable price too.

Clifford fitted. Does this great trick of starting remotely so it's warm when you get in !!
