Earth Points
Could anyone please tell me where the earthing points are on the G Wagen? I can see one under the bonnet on the n/s wing and a single earth cable under the dash in the passenger foot well, are there other? Now off to find the fuse box...... :?:
Hi \The fuse box is under steering wheel lower edge of the dash (cover is held in place by four Dzus fasteners)..behind the fuse box and to the right is a large cluster of earth points. two starhead screws hold the fuse carrier in place remove the screws and drop the carrier to access the relay panel...fuse values and services can be found in your operators hand book....
I've got the handbook, but it doesn't specify which fuses should be 8 and which 16, it's on my list of jobs to find out, do you have a list?
I think there's also an earthing point just below the roof, next to the rear door on the passenger side. At least I hope that's what it was.
Thank you, I shall attempt to finish it tomorrow as the snow beat me today.

Fixwin38, thank you for the help. Sorry for not replying earlier I have been outside working on the car before it re-snows.
I haven't got the owners manual but i do have the Mercedes WIS software, I will look for the fuse values in there for now.
