received in the mail a letter from spanish ministry of interior. i thought it was a hoax so didn't do anything about it.

it was'nt long before another reminder letter arrived.

i do not understand the letter other than it does look legit...
i was caught on camera speeding and am being asked to pay, 100 euros.

they provide a web site for information but it's in spanish.

does anyone have any experience or knowledge of how this is paid?

i was in a hire car at the time, august last year

thanks

You could try calling the Spannish Embassy in London

You could let Google translate the website. Or cut and paste the bits you want translated into something like Babelfish.

When I looked into tickets from Italy it seemed they are obliged to provide details in comprehensible english and IBAN details for international payment. This may only apply to Italy but the embassy should advise you.
