THERMOSTAT FOR G460?
Hi-does anyone know the best place to get a new thermostat for my 1989 280GE? Cheers....
eurocarparts.co.uk are pretty good (around £8), or Merc, or a motor factor. Cheers
Hi Your 280ge engine is a model m110 same as in the saloon car.... Europarts or GSF parts will not recognise G'wagon but will identify the w123/4 saloon for parts..if your heater is blowing hot air then the thermostat may not be the problem you have with the temp indicator.

Hi-thanks for the help. Got one from Main dealer for £14.25 plus vat, fitted and now warm!! Got my 230GE to do, ordered another so hope it's just as easy-the 280 didn't even have one fitted when we took the top hose off!! Now the water that leaks into the car will get warmer on the floor!!!
