Sunday snowy play
Went out today with Russ280, we went for a pottle around Lake Vrynwy and very nice it was, we nearly got stuck once and had to turn back from three routes due to ice and snow.
Never seen it before but if the photo upload works you will see parts of the lake frozen over and frozen streams.
Yes very nice Sunday drive in the country :D
Shame the 1st route was blocked, the river crossing would have been a good test for the snorkel
Only came close to needing a tow the once
Lucky b****rs. I spent the day swapping my water pump, but the snowy views are still there. Glad you had fun.
Ps how long does it take to cook a Russ280?

Water pump change outside yesterday  , Oh the joys of G ownership. Should have bought a Toyota

Timing could have been better but over 300,000 miles on that pump so can't complain.
Hope you get that heater working soon - if you don't have any joy with the auxiliary pump and decide to go the webasto route there was someone on ebay selling them in Poland for £100 - I know someone who bought one and is very happy with the service.
did the tin foil help, some of the older LR's used to have jackets that would fit over the grill, with flaps that could be rolled up or down :?:
The Norwegian 240G that Cliff owned had a roller blind between the rad and the grill which you could operate from in the cab - I've seen it in the epc somewhere.
