Just got back from a cracking driver training course run by the Land rover owners adventure club based at Rockingham Castle nr. Corby Northants. Its run by the landrover experience situated there. There website is www.lroac.com and they run one or two every month as well as various quarry days

Its an introductory course and costs £50 for the day. There were four of us and ones instructor and you use your own cars.

The chaps name who runs it is Ed Cobley (it was him driving the bowler in the clarkson Duel dvd). He was really good knew a lot about g-wagens and really cleared up a lot from me. I did this course driving in 4-5 inches of snow and a bit of guidance really helped and by the end of the day we were doing things easily that we really struggled on at the start.

Best bit of the day was watching a Discovery 3 stuck where the g sailed through.

Judging by all the questions on diff locks, hill climbs etc on the forum i thought this may be of use to some members

Thanks

I've just sent them an e-mail, I've been thinking of doing a training day for a long time. Thanks!
