things to check/replace whilst front is off
Hi,
Are there anythings I should look at replacing whilst I have the rad out and flywheel (in middle of replacing water pump!)
I have found a dodgy engine mount so anything else i should maybe check?

When you took the rad out did you undo the plates that cover the front of the inner wing. I did, and kind of wish I never had. The inner wings are bolted to the chassis there but there wasn't much left of the wings at that point.
I now have both the wings off, it took 6 hours but makes taking them to a welder much easier, MB quoted £750 for two new wings but 1 is not available.
Already pulled mine and dropped them at the welders. Turns out MB make the pillars that rot for £50 a piece but again only on back order at the moment.
Dealt with Offroad World before, very reliable, sometimes things are more expensive than MB prices especially when you factor delivery.

I shall have a look for you as I have to wings (both sides) but not sure what condition they are in if ur interested? Also look on eBay.de for a guy called "offroad world" I think his parts are usually priced okay and get here in
about 4days
