What is the difference between these two that justifies the 40% (£10k) higher price?

Same year, same engine, both LHD & LWB ??

Genuine question (don’t wish to upset the owner of the more expensive one)

The more expensive one used to belong to a fellow member (search for posts by Goochie) not that long ago.

He added a number of expensive extras to make it look more like a G55... wheels, chrome bits etc. I can't speak for it's current owner but while he owned it, it was very well maintained and no expense spared.

The cheaper one seems cheap - not sure if there is a problem or not with it at that price, but G pricing isn't exactly a science since they are rare and few between. So it could well be a find... but see if it has documented history as G400s can be problematic if you get the wrong one.

Re: Need a little help re prices

Hi seem to remember "Goochie" sold it and shortly afterwards agreed to market it for the current owner..it has more add-ons than the cheaper one.and as mentioned the 400 engine needs to be pampered ... 63000 miles in eight years does not amount to much "scheduled" full service history... 5000 miles between oil changes would be the sort of pampering required and the correct MB coolant additive replaced yearly would pamper some more.....
