Bitter Sweet Sale of 300 TD !
Hi all,
My hunt for G55 is now committed as my 300TD is now up for sale on pistonheads.

I think this is what is worth so we will see what bites..I am in no rush as have not found the G55 I am after and suspect it might be half a year or so.

Must say that I have seen Ferdi's G and it is in stunning shape with low mileage. I think he may put Goochie to shame with the polishing....

is it G or non G related maxwell?
That way I don't need to be without a G for many months -I just couldn't t bear being G-less for too long! It will go back on rest assured to those who have called.

I was G-less for 23 days back in October and it wasn't a present experience...

does anyone else think that we are having a flood of g55's at the moment due to the 3 year lease being up on them and they've been handed back by their owners?

have been scouring german sites pretty hard over past 2 weeks and struggling to find a 2008 with enough miles that the price isnt too outrageous (everythign is relative of course)...2009/10 gets silly..but 2008 you occassionally see a few with 20+k miles and the price become within reach of my budget..i missed one the other day...it will we a wait and see game as usual...

Wow. Response has been pretty intense to this car... and in reality I am still far away from finding my perfect G55..so I have decided to remove the car from the market for a number of months until I find a G55.
That way I don't need to be without a G for many months -I just couldn't t bear being G-less for too long! It will go back on rest assured to those who have called.
