Well, I can say is that it was maintained by an official Mercedes-Benz garage named Gebrüder (Bothers) Spicker in Saalestrasse 10, 45478 Mulheim and der Ruhr (between Duisburg and Essen in Nordrhein Westfallen - Western Germany) that no longer exists.
There is a car dealer named Cool-cars GmbH & Co. KG listed at that address though.
The local Mercedes garage is now Fahrzeug-Werke LUEG AG -Autorisierter Mercedes-Benz Verkauf und Service
its a pity we havent more german owners on the forum
as it is nice to be able to follow a cars history

Hi probably ordered by serving military personnel or diplomatic corp...old rule was if you kept it overseas for 12 months then no duty or taxes when you brought it back to the UK/Eire......
you could ask a freindly C and E Man (if there is such a thing)
to find out what was paid in duty at the Poe (point of entry)
