Cabrio Top?
I was wondering if there is a detailed thread on "How to use" the Cabrio top on a W463?? I have searched all the G forums with little luck on how hard or easy it is to use the soft top. Anybody that has experience can chime in! I would like to know how easy or hard it is to use? What is the process for putting it up and down? How long does it take to put up and down? If you have pictures of the process that would be even better.

Normally Takes me about 15minutes to get off and 20 mins to put back. Its a bit of a palava but you could probably speed up the process with a bit of practice..... only downside living in England is that due to our beautiful weather I rarely get to take it off!! :(

I'm a member of this website but when I try to open the Maintenance Manual link I get "Access Denied...You are trying to access a restricted area. GWOA Members group access required"
If you have paid your membership contact the admin side of the site.
They will grant you access to the members only parts you require.
If you haven't paid its inly £25 which is very worthwhile.

I have had a 460 manual soft top that had the rare but similar mechanism to the 463 as it folded back in one move, on gas struts, once the side canvas had been removed by zipers and the front top of windscreen undone. It took about 5 mins to take down and the same to put back up.
On the 463 I don't think you take out the side canvas (altough not totally sure) so the operation is more of undo at to of screen and fold back, probebly taking about 3 mins if that and then there is a cover to pop on over the folded roof.
