Is it just the G going back to NZ or are you keeping a presence over here too?

Thank you
Did my best to avoid Black and Silver. Sensible diesel engine . The 400cdi may have been a worry down here. Dont need worry.
Nice G and great Colour!

Russ
O come on I posted a vid last week already!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Cgg5_0kblfs
Not this year (G is in Tenerife, so not much snow to tread), but snowy pictures anyway:
Went for a play in the snow today :)
Couldn’t get any further as a dirty great tractor snow plough had given up just beyond this point.
So discretion seemed the better part of valour and all that. Fun but no sun and too cold really
Russ,
THat looks great! All our Snow has gone, now just flooded roads and rain down here :(
Spider1V
Me earlier on today. Some friends had some problems getting water and feed to their horses - their Landy was on the blocks (nothing new there - as G day will find out! ) So Spider1V and his G to the rescue.
Beautiful (the G, not the bloke, that is)
Joe glad to see you could battle through that huge covering of snow it looked very deep there  and that somone has followed the trail
G Day,
Thanks. It was tough going, had to engage my diff's just to make sure! Managed to get home safe and sound though.
Spider1V
BTW - is that your new Blue Landrover you have in your avitar?
Yes. its silver not blue with that black chequer plate stuff its a TD5 not new you can do more with the engine tune than on a TD4.
As Russ will no doubt testify I seem to spend my life swapping vehicles just to have a play with something different. Have to save the Rangie it replaces sets a record I have been driving for 33 years and in that time its the car I have owned for the longest period (35.5 months!) which says something.
I have no doubt that another G will be on the drive at some point but untill then the 90 replaces the Rangie and the 280.
I look forward to some "stick" at the next time we meet
BTW light weight doesn't half make a difference in these conditions as you will have seen from Russ280's post the lanes round where I live are a little interesting, offering 4 ways out all at 1 in 3 plus in places some worse, not for the fainted hearted on ungritted sheet ice, not saying a G wouldn't do it but I would perhaps a SWB G would do better like the 90, the lighter weight helps sure helps , up hill no issues for either............ unless we get to J turns...............
Here's a few from Somerset. No problems for the G anywhere including getting up and down some steep slopes on and around The Mendips. One hairy moment on the way down in low range, 1st when it just started sliding on the ice without the application of the brakes. Soon found some snow on the edge to get traction from though.
This was taken crossing the north Yorkshire moors the snow was very deep in places but we had no problems.
I’ve pulled three vehicles out of the snow this winter!!

did you get my text Joe? nightingales is fanstastic, i heard the QM2 is stopping there on its next world cruise!
