Just had stainless steel exhaust made up to replace original from Powerflow - based in Slough. Ask for Naz 01753 554001 - tell him they did John's G in Windsor - you could get a better price !
Premises leave a lot to be desired as it's a shared estate - but they did a real good job and are very helpful !

Mine had started to come apart at the end box, brackets and the middle box/section.

Cost was sub £600 which included:
*new end box
*middle box
*link to existing (original CAT)
*renew of all brackets and supports - incl to CAT
*lifetime warranty

I left CAT in place after they said it was OK

They did a great job - sounds great now too !

Good luck !

Blue.

I deleted the end box on mine and wish I'd deleted the middle box as well, just using the cat as a silencer.

Does the pipe go up round the fuel tank on a 463 as on a 460? i.e. would they be a similar price do you think?

no after the cat on the drivers side it loops over to the left over the chassis and prop shaft but in front of the plastic petrol tank. With the 280 you can shorten the exhaust and either turn it side ways or downwards to avoid the fuss and complexity of trying to bend it up and over the tank. The last s/s exhaust I had made up for a 280 cost me less than £200 but that was over 5 years ago and was from the down pipe only. Altogether I've had 3 made 1 for a gd300, a ge280 and most recently on my ge300. The shortened exhausts for the 460's exited before the fuel tank and both were under £200 and the one for the 300 wasn't much more than that. All 3 made by Longlife in Cardiff.
