received my free copy this morning, excellent photography, good layout, article from Australia particularly good, sadly some very poor quality translation in a couple of articles. The 1st of many, perhaps, so it could be a historic issue, much appreciated.

I too received my copy this weekend... loved it. Very professional in layout and content. Many thanks to Herr Sand and the GWOA for sending me the free copy!

Considering it was done by a non-native English speaker, I think it was very well written and translated. In fact, I much preferred the quaint and colloquial errors in spelling and grammar more than I would have reading an article written by a typical, poncy english magazine editor who thinks that the audience of a specialist car magazine would like to read his idiotic, fake-poncy flowery prose (sorry, I'm generalising).

I have this problem with MB Enthusiast - even though I DO buy it every month (it's like crack), I wish these people would just write the fecking articles about good cars, rather than always give their "opinions" and fill space with words like, "I rather enjoyed the drive in the w124 estate through the beautiful green lanes, stopping and admiring the rather nice smell of manure emanating through the hedgerow BLAH BLAH BLAH"

It's a car magazine... it should be about cars! And this first issue certainly was.

I received mine on saturday morning, very impressed!
makes a change from buying lr mags and censoring them, amazing the amount of time it takes to change every where in the mag it says land rover to mercedes-benz, and then theres chaging the badges on all the vehicles in the pictures!!
