Are you the guy in the corner breathing in all the fumes?

However the paint is water based so there was little or no fumes at all.

I was not in the booth when the laquer was applied, I suspect that is a different story all together.

Re: Spray booth Action!

How much the new paint-work cost to you, if no secret, pardon me...
I might get this done to my G one day too, so handy to know, whats the caliber of these works.
Cheers!

PS. I hope you treat us with your outcome too.

These works have taken around six weeks. but the paint only takes a few hours to do. I have had all age related scuffs and dents removed with a few small welds where needed.

The whole process could have been done alot quicker but i told the company to take their time in order to make a top job.

I took it to a company called Paintology in Nottingham they were by no means the cheapest but they had all the right gear and the boss really came accross as an exterme perfectionist.

The whole job is spectacular and I have no complatins about the level of service and the workmanship / attention to detail.

The total bill will be £2100 (which includes all prep)

Worth every penny.

My thoughs were that If I spent top money I would get a top product.

If I went too cheap and they did a bad job, I would have to sell the car.

Re: Spray booth Action! (video)

I think that a very reasonable price.
To get a ten by seven trailer painted in two pack costs me
£550 plus the vodka and tonic.

That's two coats and a laquer. On four flat Walls.

So twenty one hundred is good for a multi coat respray is good

Re: Spray booth Action! (video)

yes, I guessed around 2 grand mark myself too... Of course - painting is not a place where to spare - it will be 1 or 2 thing what ppl will notice. If I can get LWB painted for same money, I will more than pleased, but that's futures music...
I hope finish of your G will be perfect and you'll do a little show-off to us ;)
