Yes boys and girls, the planning has already started and we are already 4 cars.

The next trip will be a bit more social, involving some pay & play fun, and a greenlaning tour back toward the highway down South.

We will wild camp in our woods from the Friday night, have a bit of a play around here until the late comers arive on Saturday before we head to another Bala pay and play.

Wild camping in the woods Saturday night and then start greenlaning towards the highway to London, planning to be at Shrewsbury by 2-3 to make it more comfortable to the people coming from afar.

I want to hire a guide for the green laning, who knows his his stuff, but we will all be responsible for recoveries.

The other question is when. I think February, or we should wait for proper Summer. Feel free to share your ideas.

I should be good for a weekend in Feb. Sounds like an interesting weekend planned. I'll probably arrive Sat morning or stay in a B&B on Friday night.

Tim & Lynn, with the new silver 90 are my closest neighbours. They own a 5* pub with rooms, but are unfortunately not child friendly. There are loads more in the area for the people who don't want to camp. My house will probably crawl with spiders, but have a big front lawn for tents and many out-buildings. It will be rough, but can be fun at the same time. There is about 2000 acres of woodland, so I still think wild camping would be nice, I would most likely camp myself.

Count me In,

I have never been off roading and I have never wild camped.

Feel free to take the pi#s.

But hey, by the time this trip is sorted I will have spect a shed load of cash on my "project" may as well get out there and use the old girl.

I have a friend who is a very seasoned off roader (but he is a LR owner) is he welcome too?

Im sure we can all throw things at him for fun :)

Dont worry about it. This year I did two firsts. Camping and 4x4ing! You'll love both.

Christo - Are you sorting out a portaloo? :)

Sorry for being so quiet, but I'm running around a bit at the moment. So far the plan is for the last weekend in February, but there is a bit of pressure to move it to summer.

More later.

Hi If your looking for a guide for green lanes I could help out if you like. I have for many years green laned over most of of Wales and know many routes around Bala, North Wales, Mid Wales, South Wales,

Indeed I moved South 3 years ago after living outside Chester for 15 years, I used to be out laning in Wales and the peak district every other weekend.
