electric window kits?

I seem to remember another irish member on here a while ago fitting a electric window kit to a 460 and it was a replacement electric window reg, done a search cant seem to find anything, was I dreaming?
asked dealer about regs fitted to model with electric windows and they were 500 euros each!
Ive had a g wagen with a universal kit before and it was very slow and needed replacing after 3 or so years, can anyone recomend any ideas?

Mick,
Markvulture used to do these kits, I have seen him on here recently so no doubt he will correct me iffen i's is wrong :roll: As wot would not be unlikely.

Hi Mick.. A garage in Newcastle County Down supplied and installed two recently for a chap called Cairan??? only have a mobile phone number for him ...07812 708791...

I had a girlfriend in Newcastle, Co. Down like 25 years ago! I wonder where would she be now!
