Can a LR drive up a 5' slope? - of course
Can a Lada drive up a 5' slope - of course
Can a mini drive up a 5' slope? - of course
Can my 2 year old in a peddle car do it? - I'm sure he can

Can a big grunty G500 do it? Yes, but only after disassembling a bridge to use as tracks, and you give it 4 hours and are willing to get covered in mud beyond recognition. Did I mention we only had a pair of MB pliers to take the bridge apart and one of those stupid little combat folding shovels?

The hot meal afterword was great thanks.

Now you might ask who it was, well I swore not to take pictures or tell anyone.

I didn't mention any names, did I?

Hmm would his name on here start with S and end with IV? Well they say..it is better to have tried and failed, than not to have tried at all, or something along those lines

Can't wait to see some PHOTOS please!

I promised not to take pics, but I'm sure it would ok if I go back and take pictures of the war zone, especially showing at what a slight slope it was.

I'm telling you, 4 hours and dismantling a bridge. After tomorrows drive I still need to go back and fix the bridge. Then I'll get some pictures.

Hmmmm - I would like to see that, as I heard that it was rather slippery. I also heard that someone else, said 'Yar, I know how to do this', got in and almost turned a G in to a Uboat G!

Joking apart - I would seriously like to thank LEEU for helping out there - some rather lateral thinking to a very slippery problem.

(BTW - you B*****d, did not take you long to get this posted! :P ), any way no pictures, so it did not happen

Spider1V - Do it in your car, same conditions and you get another meal!

Re: Big V8 and 5' slope

I had to go back today to fix the bridge and to other drivers defence, I also struggled there. It took me 3 attemts, but I did it. I've got a few pictures, so I'll try to get them up to.
