My new Wheels and Tyres :)
Ok, they finally got sorted.
I am very happy with the outcome.
some said it was not possible, some said it was gonna be a pain in the arse.....
but finally.... (with the aid of a panther)

Looking great! Love the sight of new tyres and alloys. I think once done you should get a pro photographer to take some shots to make a portfolio of post-restoration..

hehe, although they look dead shiney, they are NOT chromed, its just the flash of the camera.
In that case, they look great. No bead blasting involved then.

the weheels were purchased from www.alloywheelsdirect.net and a friend of mine owns a landrover repair shop. he got me the tyres and fitted them for me. Thephoto's were taken at his workshop. my workshop is smaller and more organised :)

I did try that, but the whole thing looked too busy. I prefer they plain tyre wall.
I have just about everything i need to complete my project, I just need my G back to get cracking on it.
It should be back with me week commencing th 14th Dec.
I just need a pair of the new style SWB side steps? any ideas?

I spoke to these guys and they are indeed great.
But they only sell the old style flat running boards. Im after the newer style.
Any ideas?
