bux under drivers seat
ok the box that holds the jack under the drivers seat in a 300gd has rusted very badly the bolts are rusted and i cant get a socket or spanner onto them to remove the seat
should i cut the box to get to the bolts with a grinder?
how easy is it to replace the box?
or should i cut the bolts under the truck then drill them out from under the truck?
Hi the front seats will slide off the carriage which is bolted to the top of the box by removing the star head bolt located in the inside frame that slides along the carriage..if the centre console is removed it is easier to see and get at..WD40 will free the slides if reluctant to move when the latching bar is lifted......
